Dance burns more calories than cycling, running or swimming! New research from the University of Brighton has found that certain styles of dance can burn more calories per hour than cycling, running, or swimming. Sport scientists from the University teamed up with dancers from City Academy to conduct the study and made a number of new discoveries about the physical and mental effects of dance.
